Digital Sudoku is a puzzle game. It works fully offline; the sections below apply only when you use the optional online features.
Your progress, solve times, streak, achievements, in-progress games, and settings are stored locally on your device and are not sent anywhere unless you sign in.
When signed in, the puzzles you solve, your solve times, move counts, and a display name are stored in our database to build the leaderboard. Turn on "Hide from leaderboard" in Settings to submit under your guest name and hide rankings.
Release builds send anonymised usage and crash data to Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to help us fix bugs. No puzzle content or personal information is included.
The app (iOS/Android) shows ads via Google AdMob, which may use a device advertising identifier. The web version shows ads via Google AdSense instead. See Google's Privacy Policy for how each handles data.
Local data is removed when you delete the app. Cloud data (if you signed in) can be deleted from the Profile screen — which removes your account and its synced data — or by contacting us at the address below.
Digital Sudoku is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Sign-in is entirely optional, and the app is fully playable without creating an account.
If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
